D Day Darlings deliver wonderful wartime show for Mount Pleasant

The ‘D Day Darlings’ were in town to add some style to the annual celebrations recently as the residents of Mount Pleasant headed to the town hall for an uplifting performance.

The entertaining group, supported by Dame Vera Lynn and the Royal British Legion, performed a lively show that saw many of the residents singing along and reminiscing about the war years.

Located on the edge of Burton-on-Trent, Mount Pleasant is a modern care home providing residential and specialist dementia care for up to 50 elderly people.
