Creative cooking at Coxhill Manor

The residents of Coxhill Manor in Surrey got highly creative in one of their recent cookery sessions.

The baking session saw the residents creating cakes, but with one small difference, they were all mounted on sticks. Firstly the cake mix was prepared, moulded and cooked. Then once cooked, each was placed on the end of a lolly stick and carefully crafted into the playfully named ‘cake pops’. The portable treats were soon devoured with the cups of tea that followed (some even before the tea was brewed!)

Coxhill Manor is a characterful country house in the peaceful location of Chobham. This fine Victorian home provides residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 60 people.
