Deer Park View care home in Teddington is ‘good’ in all areas of care, according to its 2015 home inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published recently.
The CQC report found Deer Park View to be good in all areas, as a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led service during its inspection visit in June. The latest report was published on the CQC website on 10 August 2015.
Isabella Mackenzie, Home Manager at Deer Park View, said: “We are extremely proud of our good rating in all areas. Well done to the staff at Deer Park View, as this was down to a really strong team effort by everyone involved. I was extremely pleased at the inspector’s feedback on the day of the visit, as well as the positive comments about our service in the CQC’s written report.”
The 2015 Deer Park View CQC report found that: ”The staff team were caring, attentive and provided the care and support needed in a friendly and kind way.” The report also said that the home was “well-maintained, furnished, clean and provided a safe environment for people to live and staff to work in.
“The staff we spoke to were very knowledgeable about the people they worked with and care field they work in." The report also noted: "Relatives said the management team at the home were approachable, responsive, encouraged feedback from people and consistently monitored and assessed the quality of the service provided.”
