Coxhill Manor bid adieu to Daniella

On Wednesday 20st September, residents and members of the team at Coxhill Manor bid adieu, or rather only a ‘temporary’ farewell, to Carer Daniella Muresan as she began her maternity leave.

The baby is due on 5th October so not long to go now…

Daniella joined us here at Coxhill Manor in February 2016.  She came to us from Romania and it wasn’t long before Daniella’s boyfriend Dan and her sister Iiona followed suit and also became part of the Coxhill team too!  Being so far from home in Romania, Coxhill Manor really become like a family and Daniella built great relationships with our team, residents and relatives alike. She is highly thought of by all.

Daniella is an exceptional carer with a fantastic work ethic.  Even when pregnant, Daniella would always cover shifts when needed and was always there to lend a helping hand to all of us.

We all gathered in the conservatory as Manager Alan presented Daniella with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and balloon, along with cards and gifts from all of us (and of course we couldn’t not get ‘father to be’ Dan a pressie too!).

Daniella felt quite emotional as Alan shared his heartfelt thanks and kind words – not only to Daniella but to her sister and boyfriend too.  As Alan said, Romania’s loss is definitely Coxhill Manor’s gain!

We all enjoyed a toast to Danielle (and the baby!) along with nibbles and cakes as Daniella said her goodbyes.

We wish Daniella and Dan every happiness as they prepare to welcome their little baby in to the world – and we can’t wait to welcome their little baby into the Coxhill Manor family too.

At Coxhill Manor care home in Woking we provide residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 58 residents.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
To Whom it may concern,

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.

Yours sincerely
