Comedy and Cakes at Knowle Park’s Red Nose Day

The staff and residents of Knowle Park care home in Cranleigh hosted a fun-packed fundraising day in aid of Comic Relief recently.

The morning saw the residents take part in a bakery workshop, making some fantastic fairy cakes to be sold at the cake sale in the afternoon.

The entertaining day also featured a popular charity raffle held at the former Manor House, followed by a cream tea and a light-hearted comedy show performed by Maggie Lilley.

The residents were thrilled at raising a total of £85 for Comic Relief, the national charity that supports thousands of worthwhile causes both in the UK and across Africa.

Knowle Park is a magnificent early 19th century Manor House on the outskirts of Cranleigh, Surrey. The home has been lovingly restored to provide residential and nursing care of distinction for up to 43 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
