Claydon residents enjoy all four seasons at the Sussex seaside

Such has been the weather this summer, that the residents of Claydon House in Lewes saw all four seasons in the space of a couple of days out recently.

The beautiful 16th Century Pelham House Hotel near Brighton offered the perfect backdrop to enjoy a glorious day of sunshine. The residents enjoyed soaking up the sun on the veranda, whilst marveling at the architecture and landscaped gardens.

A few days after however, a trip to the coastal town of Seaford provided much more inclement weather. This was a dedicated trip for the home’s EMI residents and the weather actually proved quite a hit. Many of the residents enjoyed ‘blowing the cobwebs away’ and with the sea air it made for a wonderful sensory experience.

Located on a quiet residential crescent in the heart of Lewes, Claydon House provides care and nursing support for up to 47 people. The home is run by family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery.
