Claydon House residents join Heffle Court for afternoon tea

The residents of Claydon House joined nearby Heffle Court this week for afternoon tea and a tour of their famous smallholding.

Heffle Court, which recently won a National Dementia Award for ‘Best Dementia Care Home’, has a host of animals including chickens, rabbits, goats and guinea pigs, which the residents of the Sussex home help to look after.

The Claydon House residents enjoyed a walk around the small farm before a cup of tea and cake in the Willow Tea Shop, one of the many reminiscence areas around the home.
Located on a quiet residential crescent at the heart of Lewes, Claydon House provides care and nursing support for up to 47 people.
