Claydon House residents enjoy a trip to Brighton

A group of staff and residents from Claydon House Care Home in Lewes have visited Brighton Pier for a seaside day out in the summer sunshine this month.

The group had a walk along Brighton Pier together and really enjoyed the UK summer sunshine at the seaside. They then had fish and chips, with an ice cream for dessert and also brought some hot doughnuts to enjoy on the journey back to the home. They travelled to the south coast in the Claydon House personal minibus. Each of our Caring Homes has their own minibus to be able to take residents out and about on request.

A spokesperson for Caring Homes, said: “Our residents really enjoy a trip to the coast. Brighton has a wonderful seaside tradition, so when the weather is hot and sunny it is a lovely place for our Claydon House residents to visit from nearby Lewes for an enjoyable day out. Make sure you visit Brighton this summer! ”
