Changing lives with every slice at Mill House for Macmillan

At Mill House care home in Chipping Campden, we held a World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Thursday 29th September for our residents, relatives and friends and are delighted to announce we raised the fantastic amount of £125.50, to help Macmillan make sure no one has to face cancer alone.

The event was really successful and lots of fun. There was a fabulous selection of delicious cakes to savour, kindly baked by our Chef and guests and we all tucked in with enthusiasm along with tea, coffee, a tombola, raffle and of course, a good old chin wag with lots of lively chatter and laughter.

Home Manager Kim Mulford said:

“We had a great coffee morning; it was a lovely chance to socialise together whilst fundraising for a great cause and helping Macmillan make a real difference to people’s lives.”

“These days are great for the residents as it is a great opportunity for past and present relatives to catch up with old friends and faces and meet new ones.”

“We are very proud to say we raised £125.50 for Macmillan and would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped on the day, attended the event and all who baked and donated.”

“For all of us at Mill House it was lovely to see so many people get involved and help support us”
