Caring Homes Group proud to be shortlisted in national awards

We are delighted to be shortlisted in the National Care Awards and the Dementia Care Awards across seven categories this year, reflecting the high quality of the care service which is provided by the long-established company.

Caring Homes has been shortlisted in the Care Home Group category which recognises companies able to evidence exceptional client care combined with excellent staff development and impressive financial results.

Consensus has colleagues shortlisted for Learning Disabilities Service Manager and for Care Team of the Year while Caring Homes has had colleagues put forward for Care Chef of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Dementia Care Team of the Year and Activities Co-ordinator for people living with dementia.

The National Care Awards celebrate their 20th Anniversary this year and will culminate with a black-tie dinner in London on November 30 when the winners of each category will be announced. The National Care Awards are the longest established Annual Awards and are organised along with the Dementia Care Awards by social care’s leading publication, Caring Times. The Dementia Care Awards winners will be announced in Brighton on November 8th.

The Awards are devised to celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector, highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
To Whom it may concern,

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.

Yours sincerely
