Burns night at Rendlesham
Rendlesham Care Centre have enjoyed some Scottish treats whilst celebrating Burns Night. Burns night is a celebration of the life and poetry of poet Robert Burns and is recognised world wide on his birthday 25th January.
Residents and staff made Scottish Saltire flags, highland cows and the Chefs made a feast of Haggis, neaps and tatties. In the afternoon they continued to make crafts and finished the day watching Grey Friars Bobby whilst drinking tea and eating shortbread. It was the perfect Burns Day celebration and Rendlesham Care Centre pride themselves on celebrating all different cultures throughout the year in the home.
