Brook House Care Home Backs Charity with Donation
Brook House Care Home is supporting the Northamptonshire Health Charity with a charity donation of £500 after they received the cheque as part of their award for winning ‘Best Innovation and Environmental’ in the prestigious Pinders 2022 Healthcare Design Awards. Each winner has an equal sum of money to donate to the charity of their choice, and Brook House chose to donate theirs to the Northamptonshire Health Charity, an organisation that supports local NHS hospitals and community services.
Sarah Jane Copeman, Brook House Home Manager said, “We felt strongly about donating the money to an organisation which cares for and supports those who dedicate their lives to looking after others.”
Michelle Leighton, Community Fundraiser at Northamptonshire Health Charity was overjoyed to receive the donation and said, “The Northamptonshire Health Charity is delighted to have been chosen by Brook House in Towcester to receive the contribution of £500 to support the work of our charity. This will help us towards providing a special level of care to make a real difference to patients, their families and the staff who care for them at Northampton General Hospital.”
Brook House Care Home is one of the newest additions to the Caring Homes family, which now comprises 70 homes nationwide and is welcoming new residents and their families safely.
