Bradbury House Residents go to the Military Museum
A group from Bradbury House made the short march to the Military Museum in Maldon recently for a day of weaponry and wartime reminiscence.
The Museum displays artefacts from Britain’s proud military history, for the education and enjoyment of both present and future generations. The displays show the everyday combat equipment and weaponry used by the British armed forces, housing a number of items of national importance.
For those residents that were in the war it was a time for reminiscence, whilst others were simply keen to see what the museum had to offer and to learn more about Military history. Everyone enjoyed an educational and enjoyable afternoon.
Located in the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family. The home dates in part from the 17th century and, following a comprehensive and sympathetic conversion, retains many original features whilst also providing an outstanding residential care setting. Bradbury House enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the highest standard of residential care in a homely and friendly environment for up to 21 elderly people.
