Bradbury House remembers Betty

The Bradbury House community gathered this weekend in memory of a special resident as they celebrated what would have been her 90th birthday.

Popular resident Betty Hawtin, who sadly passed away in July, would have turned 90 on Sunday 24th August and the residents of Bradbury House joined her family in celebrating her life and remembering Betty as the wonderfully kind and happy lady that she was.

Alison from Cliché provided live entertainment, singing many of Betty’s favourite songs as the close knit community raised a glass in her memory before going into the garden and releasing a dozen yellow balloons into the sky.
Situated at the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family and enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
