Bradbury House celebrate Betty’s 89th

Tea, cake and candles were in order at Bradbury House this week as the staff and residents celebrated their friend and fellow resident, Betty Hawtin’s 89th birthday.

Betty, who has been a resident at Bradbury House for the past four years, is a huge fan of old war times songs – so staff at the Braintree home hired an entertainer who arrived dressed in war time apparel and sang some of her favourite tunes.

Betty said she had a lovely day being surrounded by all her friends and family, with her cake and presents proving a big hit too.

Located in the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
