Birthday Celebrations at Bradbury House

The staff and residents of Bradbury House in Essex pulled out all the stops to ensure that Louisa Hodgson’s 91st Birthday went with a bang recently.

The team at the Braintree home organised a wealth of entertainment to celebrate Louisa’s big day, with a puppet show in the morning and a visit by the local Scouts and Beavers to sing for Louisa in the afternoon.

In the evening, Louisa enjoyed a tea with her fellow residents, including a beautiful Birthday Cake prepared by the home’s chef. The day was rounded off by a performance from the children of the local theatre group. Louisa even took to the microphone herself and treated everyone to her favourite song.

Located in the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House is the very first home in the Caring Homes family. The home dates in part from the 17th century and, following a comprehensive and sympathetic conversion, retains many original features whilst also providing an outstanding residential care setting. Bradbury House enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely and friendly environment for up to 21 elderly people.
