The bells are ringing out at Heffle Court

Residents at Heffle Court were treated this week to a beautiful performance by our local community hand bell ringing group, The Parish Peelers, as part of our Easter activity programme.

It was great to welcome the group to Heffle Court and their arrival was eagerly anticipated by the residents.  They performed a wonderful selection of music and songs and encouraged the residents to all get involved.

Samantha Lovelock, Activity Coordinator said

“Everyone really enjoyed themselves and the group were amazing. The residents were delighted with the gentle tones of the bells and the skill of the ringers. They even had a sing along to their favourite tunes. We’ll have to do this again”

At Heffle Court our focus is providing our residents with rich, engaging and therapeutic activities based on their life experiences or even creating new ones, so we love welcoming musicians and hosting activities such as these.

It’s also very important for us to maintain strong links with our local community and gives us great satisfaction to see traditional forms of music being kept alive.

We look forward to welcoming The Parish Peelers back again.
