‘Be Happy’ at Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant held a ‘Be Happy’ themed day recently, with the focus of the day firmly on the residents’ emotional wellbeing. The home was decorated with comical posters and each resident had a handmade place mat at lunchtime with smiley faces and a joke on, whilst activities included reciting rhymes and talking about what makes them feel happy. Following the fun-filled day, the residents and staff all agreed that family and feeling safe and loved is what makes them happiest. Mount Pleasant is a modern care home providing residential and specialist dementia care for up to 50 elderly people.
