Art classes at Tall Trees

The residents at Tall Trees Nursing Home in Chipping Norton enjoy regular art sessions.

Art is a form of relaxation and stimulation at Tall Trees, we make sure our residents enjoy their day by expressing themselves through art and painting!

Abbie, our art teacher, visits every month for a session have with our residents, always bringing with her wonderful ideas and themes. We celebrated American Independence Day as our theme for the month. Everyone had fun and created their masterpieces which you can see below. Everyone also we listened to American bands and songs which they have enjoyed in the past whilst they painted.

Mrs. K one of our resident said “Art is not what you see but what you make others see.”

We are all looking forward to our next session, the theme will be ‘Life is A Beach!’
