Angelic music at Galsworthy

Residents at Galsworthy House nursing home in Kingston upon Thames welcomed Danielle our harpist to back play some lovely music.

Although harp music isn’t always a recognisable tune, but free flowing music for the environment it is being payed, Danielle played some old favourites such as “Everybody loves somebody”, “Lavender Blue ” and “Tammy”. The residents enjoyed humming along and some picking up the words for the song.

The rhythms and tones played by Danielle are meaningful to the residents, free flowing and very relaxing. This not only makes for an enjoyable afternoon as we can all sing along to the music she plays, but also very relaxing as it is theĀ instrument of comfort and peace.

We look forward welcoming Danielle back for another relaxing session.
