Alpacas at Magna

Residents at Magna Care Centre in Wimborne were treated to a visit from some friendly Alpacas this week.

Who says an animal visit to a home needs to be a dog or even reptiles. Magna met Alpacas from Shaftesbury this week who greeted them around the home.

The residents gathered in the lounge to greet the visitors and their handlers as they arrived. The looks on their faces as they walked in was of astonishment.

Everyone was pleased to see them, and they enjoyed learning about the animals, facts about the species, and stroking their beautifully soft coats. The taller of the two alpacas was two and a half years old called Midnight Prince and the uncle of the other one. Casper was the little one, he was only eighteen months old.

The Alpacas finished their visit by walking around the rooms of those that could not join us in the living room but wanted to meet them.

Than you for visiting!
