Abbeycrest residents out and about at Beale Park

The Abbeycrest residents took a trip to local Beale Park this week as they celebrated the seemingly never-ending summer.

Located on the banks of the river Thames, Beale Park provided a stunning backdrop for the group to enjoy a relaxing picnic and an entertaining day out, with highlights including a trip on the narrow gauge diesel railway.

The Park houses a walk through aviary and an owlery and is home to a large collection of unusual animals including monkeys, prairie dogs, wallabies and the ever-popular meerkats.

Located in the quiet village of Sonning Common at the heart of the Chilterns, Abbeycrest is one of Caring Homes’ newest care homes, offering exceptional residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.
