Littleworth Choir take Standon Hall residents ‘down memory lane’

The residents of Standon Hall were delighted to welcome the members of Littleworth Choir this week, who entertained them to the theme of singing down memory lane.

The musical afternoon was also in conjunction with ‘Poppy Day’, which brought back a number of poignant memories for the captivated audience.

The members of the choir enjoyed the interaction and activities with the residents and staff so much that they are hoping to come back again in 2015.

Standon Hall is a quite magnificent manor house, which has been sympathetically converted to provide residential care in the form of fine country living for up to 22 elderly ladies and gentlemen. Within the grounds of the Hall is The Beeches, purpose built home providing specialist dementia care for up to 21 elderly residents.
