Life’s a beach at Bradbury House
With the weather only now starting to resemble summer, a number of homes have been getting in the mood for the summer with indoor themed days. Recently, staff and residents at Guysfield Care Home held a Hawaiian-themed afternoon and now everyone at Bradbury House has been getting ready for summer with a beach-themed day in the home.
A paddling pool and sandpit were set up; ice creams and pimms cocktails served, and beach music was played to set the scene. Everyone had a great day, with particular pleasure taken in splashing Nikki, the Manager of Bradbury House.
Nikki herself said:
“With summer taking it’s time to arrive this year, we thought we would bring the beach indoors. Now we are all ready for the sun to shine and the summer to finally start!”
