Beechwood Park welcomes bird of prey

Beechwood Park was the venue for an impromptu bird of prey show this week as the residents and staff welcomed ‘Ombré’ the Harris Hawk.

The fine weather ensured that the residents could see the young bird, traditionally native to America, in full flight as he circled the gardens at the New Sauchie home. Some of the group were even brave enough to put on the special glove and hold the impressive bird, whilst others were happy just to stroke him.

Situated on Main Street in New Sauchie, Beechwood Park is a modern, purpose-built home, providing specialist nursing and dementia care for up to 61 elderly people.
