Latham Lodge resident celebrates birthday

We love to make a big deal about birthdays at Latham Lodge, whatever the age. A resident of the home recently celebrated her birthday and the chef, Jane went all out to make her some delicious and gorgeous cupcakes. All the staff and residents gathered to sing Happy Birthday and give cards and presents.

Baking is a big part of life at Latham Lodge as it helps keep our residents minds active, gives them time to relax and socialise and helps with their dexterity. Although this time round the cakes were made by the chef, it is great when the residents get involved too.

Latham Lodge, rated as Good overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is located in Purbrook a quaint village near Portsmouth
