Redeveloping Guysfield for the Future
We’re always looking to improve and invest in our care homes not only so we can continue to offer the best possible quality of care but also to provide the most comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. With this in mind, we are excited to announce plans for Guysfield Care Home in Letchworth, with a complete redevelopment project beginning summer 2026.
The new purpose-built nursing and residential care home, set across four floors, will offer 70 beautifully designed bedrooms, each with an en-suite wet room. The light, spacious home will feature a range of attractive communal living spaces including a bistro, and a spacious lounge and a dining area on each floor, plus a hair and beauty salon and a cinema.
Incorporating the latest technology, the care home’s enhanced facilities will give residents comfort and choice throughout the day. Additionally, the outdoor areas will be landscaped to create a pleasant and accessible environment for residents and we plan to carefully refurbish the original listed historic building next to the care home, which will bring additional communal space.
