Advice & Guidance
Sharing our knowledge, dementia care advice and expertise with families, friends and the wider community.

Raising Awareness and Understanding
As experienced providers of dementia care, we think it is important to raise awareness and offer a better understanding of dementia as a whole. Not just for families of our residents but also providing advice for dementia carers and healthcare professionals seeking further support and guidance. Our ultimate goal is to create a dementia-friendly society in which dementia guidance is readily available and widely known.
According to Dementia Statistics, one in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime, either through one of our loved ones or ourselves. The dementia umbrella term covers a wide range of conditions, but much of our dementia care advice is applicable across the board in order to help those living with the condition.
We offer dementia-related events such as workshops, dementia cafes and community events providing valuable support and networking opportunities, as well as signposting to trusted sources of information.

The Story of My World
Providing expert dementia care advice and guidance to loved ones of those living with dementia is the cornerstone of our My World framework. We know that our residents and others in the community living with the condition are on a journey – but so are their loved ones and healthcare workers in the sector.
One of the key ways we can help provide high-quality care is by keeping up to date on the latest dementia and Alzheimer’s advice and guidance. Led by expert research and NHS guidance, we’re here to serve the community by providing that knowledge in an easy-to-digest format.
