Located in the picturesque village of Necton in the heart of Norfolk, Necton Grange provides residential care for up to 17 elderly people. This former vicarage has a wonderful country home style; the home has been sympathetically converted to provide the highest standard of residential care whilst retaining its charming period features.
As one of Caring Homes’ smaller services, Necton Grange offers a real ‘home from home’ ambience. In fine weather residents enjoy the delightful gardens and grounds and there are always opportunities to get out and about in the village or venture further afield to Dereham, Swaffham and Norwich.
The home offers a full range of residential care support, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Necton Grange operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. In common with all of our homes, Necton Grange’s manager has a qualified nursing background. The home is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and has ISO 9001/2000 and Hospitality Assured accreditation.

Life in a Caring Home is viewed as a continuum of life – an opportunity to gain new experiences and learn new things – whilst maintaining your existing hobbies and interests.
At every Caring Home, there is a dedicated activities co-ordinator who is on hand to support residents in learning new hobbies and maintaining existing ones.
An activities programme is developed by the activities co-ordinators who work in conjunction with the clinical team in reviewing each individuals occupational interests and tailoring an activities programme that addresses them.
