Respite Care
We understand how difficult it can be for families or friends providing ongoing care. Our respite stays can provide a crucial break for carers to do daily chores, go on holiday or simply have some well-earned time off.
Many of our residents take regular respite breaks with us, enjoying the chance to see new faces and try out a few new things. Residents who take short breaks with us often enjoy the chance to meet new people and try out new activities – giving them a welcome change of scene and fresh stimulation.
Other short term care
If your loved one has spent time in hospital as a result of a fall, an operation or a major illness, this may have taken a huge toll on their body. They need time, and quality care, to recover their health and confidence. Convalescent care provides the medical and therapeutic support they need in a relaxing setting, helping them to get back on their feet before returning home.
Day care offers a friendly, stimulating setting for people who are still living at home but who may need some additional support, or just want to see more people, during the day. Many of our homes provide day care for people living with dementia, physical disabilities, or those who simply want to be more active. Day care gives them the opportunity to meet friends and do different activities, while their family carers know they are safe and happy.
