Broadbridge Park Proudly Launches Its New Penthouse Floor

12th August 2026

Residents and guests from the local community recently came together at Broadbridge Park as the ribbon was officially cut to mark the opening of the home’s stunning new penthouse floor.

Local Community Joins The Celebration

On a beautiful afternoon, the Broadbridge Park team, residents and relatives were joined by friends and colleagues from the local community and special guests Joanne Knowles - Horsham District Council Chairman, John Milne - MP for Horsham, and Caring Homes’ co-founder, Helena Jeffery.

The launch event began with a tour of the nine fabulous en-suite bedrooms with views over the grounds and Broadbridge Heath. The additional bedrooms will give Broadbridge Park the opportunity to offer high-quality care to even more people in the local community, and five of the new rooms have been designed with dedicated nursing care in mind, so there are options for residents requiring more specialist support.

Bright, Welcoming Spaces and Carefully Chosen Colours

Guests mingled in the bright, welcoming communal spaces which showcased how well the top floor space maximizes the use of natural light. Caring Homes’ Head of Strategic Design, Ginny Clarke, was on hand to share some of inspiration behind the design, explaining, “This redevelopment scheme gave us the opportunity to create an area that is unique but also feels like an organic extension of the whole home environment. Like the lower floors, it has a tranquil, airy feel and we have used personal touches and carefully chosen colours to bring comfort and reassurance to residents in a ‘home from home’ setting”.

Canapes, Cupcakes and Celebratory Fizz

Canapes and celebratory fizz were served and guests were invited to decorate their own cupcakes at a special ‘sprinkles station’ where a variety of toppings were available to those who wanted to be creative! Meanwhile, harpist Heather Wrighton performed a delightful selection of music for residents who gathered in the home’s ground floor bistro area after their tour of the new floor. With doors wide open to reveal blue skies and the sunny garden beyond, Heather’s music provided the perfect soundtrack to the afternoon.

A Lovely Home Run With Skill, Care and Love

When the time for the official ribbon cutting arrived, John Milne and Helena Jeffery executed their duties perfectly. John thanked the team for their invitation and said how lovely the home was, adding that he knew that the nine new rooms would be run with all the “skill, care and love” that is put in elsewhere. Helena congratulated the team, with a special mention for Ginny, and thanked “all our lovely staff in the home who make it so wonderful”.

Broadbridge Park has a calm ambiance and a happy energy, and with easy access to the floors below, residents who live on the upper level will be fully involved in every aspect of life at Broadbridge Park. With landscaped gardens and terraces, the large, sociable bistro space and a wide range of activities created by the home’s Wellbeing team, there will always be opportunities for every resident to continue to live life to the full.
