Whittington House Participates in Race for Life Fundraiser
Staff at Whittington House Care Home in Cheltenham, have been supporting Cancer Research UK by participating in their local Race for Life event held at Cheltenham Racecourse.
Cancer Research UK hold fundraising events all over the United Kingdom and the Race for Life events have always been well supported. The Whittington House team decided to participate this year after what has been a very trying time for the care sector and it proved to be an amazing ‘team bonding’ day for all concerned.
Not only did everyone involved do well to complete the race, but with the support of family and friends and all the residents at Whittington House they raised almost £1400 in the process!!
A huge well done to everyone for doing something so positive and uplifting and to show true team spirit!
