Handmade Garden Gifts for Homefield Grange

The residents and team at Homefield Grange Care Home were surprised by a delivery from someone in the local community. These two raised flower beds were handmade for the team and residents for them to use and improve accessibility to those in wheelchairs who would like to get their gardening gloves on. The home are so thankful to the amazing people in the local community who are always supporting them and the residents are looking forward to potting some lovely plants and flowers.

Growing flowers, fruit and vegetables is something that many people will have enjoyed over the years and for our residents this gives them an opportunity to exercise their green fingers. It also helps them to maintain independence and is perfect for getting some fresh air while sharing stimulating conversations with other residents while they work together.
