Gentleman's Club at Horsell Lodge

The gentleman at Horsell Lodge Care Home have started up their own club where they can enjoy some bonding time over drinks and activities. Barbara, the Wellbeing Lead at the home took on feedback from the gentleman residents and set about putting plans into motion to set up this club for them.

It launched this month and moving forward they will meet once a fortnight in their newly created 'Gentleman's Room' which has been setup on the first floor.

They get to enjoy their drink of choice, typically a beer or a short and chat as well as playing a game of cards or pool, it is clear from their first get together that they had a great time, so watch this space as it may become more frequent that fortnightly!
