Enjoying the sunshine at Horsell Lodge
The residents at Horsell Lodge Care Home have been enjoying the wonderful weather and sunshine in the gardens of the home. As the weather has been getting better the residents have taken the opportunity to enjoy the lovely landscaped gardens at the home and soak up some all important Vitamin D. They have also been enjoying ice creams / lollies as well as some delicious cocktails.
The gardens at the home promote leisure and therapeutic opportunities and stimulates sociable activity for all residents. Planting and features are used to create points of interest for residents. They also stimulate the senses through water features; planting and features that attract wildlife and birds; and fragrant plants and flowers. So whether residents want to take a stroll, talk to friends, read a good book or simply relax they are the ideal place during this wonderful weather.
