Double celebrations of St David's Day and Shrove Tuesday at Homefield Grange

The residents and team at Homefield Grange Care Home combined their celebrations for St David's Day and Shrove Tuesday for all to enjoy.

Flags with the Welsh dragon were hung around the home and daffodils adorned all the dining room tables to celebrate St David's Day. Then to mark Shrove Tuesday the residents enjoyed some lovely pancakes with various toppings. The residents had a pancake flipping competition then could choose from Nutella and Banana, Strawberries and Cream or the more traditional lemon and sugar as toppings which were all delicious. While they were enjoying their pancakes the residents enjoyed chatting about what they going to give up for lent.
