Benson House Care Home welcomes local community for Care Home Open Week 2022

11th July 2022

Benson House Care Home welcomed visitors to learn more about the home and its services whilst celebrating Care Home Open Week. They invited the local community to visit the home and enjoy an afternoon full of fun activities and refreshments.

Activities on the day included a live music performance from Richard Aust, a saxophonist from Marlow, special guest Benson Parish Councillor, Teresa McTeague, together with Gordon Hurst, son of our first resident Peggy, to plant a commemorative apple tree in the garden. This was to commemorate the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative as part of her 70th Jubilee celebrations. The team at Benson House also hosted tours of the home for visitors, to have a look round and experience the quality of life Benson House residents enjoy.

Home manager, Donna Boobyer, said: “Every year we welcome visitors to our Care Home Open Day to meet our team and provide you with information about our services.

“I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who managed to come along on the day and for those who couldn’t make it, you can still get in touch with our friendly team, and we will be able to accommodate a visit for you around our home.”

Benson House Care Home is a prestigious care home entirely centred around the residents, their needs and wishes, providing residential care, nursing care and dementia care. For more information on our home or to arrange a tour call our friendly team on freephone 0808 169 8656.
