Rectory House is a magnificent period house located in the attractive village of Sompting, West Sussex, which has been carefully and sympathetically converted into a wonderful care home with nursing.
The sense of occasion derived from approaching the home along the beech, oak and chestnut lined drive is more than matched by Rectory House’s magnificent Georgian frontage and beautiful interior. Large and airy communal spaces and bedrooms benefit from the retention of many distinctive period features including ornate cornices and imposing fireplaces. The house is complemented by two acres of well tended gardens and grounds, in which residents can take the air or simply enjoy from the comfort of the conservatory.
Rectory House care home in West Sussex offers a full range of nursing care support, including facilities for residents with higher nursing care needs. The home offers trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Rectory House operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. In common with all of our homes, Rectory House’s manager has a qualified nursing background. The home is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and has ISO9001/2000 and Hospitality Assured accreditation.

Rectory House care and retirement home is a stunning Georgian period house offering residential and nursing care to elderly ladies and gentlemen.
All of our Care Homes in West Sussex have dedicated activities co-ordinators who work in conjunction with the clinical team in reviewing each individuals occupational interests and tailoring an activities programme to suit them.
The beautiful gardens and grounds surrounding the property provides the perfect setting in which residents can learn new hobbies or maintain existing ones.
