The estate comprises the stunning Victorian House, which provides residential care in the main building and nursing care facilities in a dedicated wing; plus the Coach House – offering residential support for those wishing to retain more independence; and Parklands – a bespoke retirement village of 29 one and two-bedroom apartments and bungalows.

The main house provides a mix of en-suite bedrooms and full bedroom suites in a remarkable stately home setting that retains a wealth of period features. The broad range of care types within the estate means that Oaken Holt can truly deliver a care pathway, offering different levels of care to meet changing needs.

Oaken Holt offers a full range of residential and nursing care support, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Oaken Holt operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. Life in a Caring Home is viewed as a continuum of life – an opportunity to gain new experiences and learn new things – whilst maintaining your existing hobbies and interests.

At every Caring Home, there is a dedicated activities co-ordinator who is on hand to support residents in learning new hobbies and maintaining existing ones.

An activities programme is developed by the activities co-ordinators who work in conjunction with the clinical team in reviewing each individuals occupational interests and tailoring an activities programme that addresses them.
