Hillside provides residential and nursing care for up to 37 elderly residents. Located in the village of Great Cornard near Sudbury, the home has an excellent reputation for delivering the highest quality care.
Our professional staff team work closely with residents to ensure everyone who wishes to can play an active role in the day to day activities at the home. A dedicated activities coordinator also ensures there is a broad scope of events for residents to participate in, from keep-fit classes for the active to creative activities for those who wish to enjoy life at a slightly slower pace.
Hillside also benefits from a close working relationship with its sister home Mellish Court, located next door. Mellish Court provides specialist residential support for people living with dementia. Combined, the two homes provide a continuous care pathway offering elderly residents, their families and loved ones the peace of mind afforded by knowing that changing care needs can be catered for at a single location.
Hillside offers a full range of residential and nursing care support, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Hillside operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. In common with all of our homes, Hillside’s manager has a qualified nursing background. The home is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and has ISO9001/2000 and Hospitality Assured accreditation.
