Manager's Profile

As Manager of Beechwood Park, I lead my professional Care Team in delivering the highest level of care and support for up to 25 residents. Having qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 2003, I spent three years working for the NHS before joining Caring Homes and working my way up to the role of Home Manager. I was previously the Manager of our sister home, Strathview, in Auchtermuchty.

This nursing experience has equipped me well for my role at Beechwood Park, where I work hard to ensure that those in my care lead happy and fulfilling lives, whilst maintaining choice over the care and support they receive.

I believe in maintaining strong relationships with residents and relatives, and I understand the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of a care home. I love nothing more than finding out from our residents, relatives and colleagues, what I can do to make their time here better or more settled.

My greatest professional achievement has been enabling a range of adults with learning disabilities to take holidays across the UK and Europe. Away from work I like to relax by spending time with my two children.
