“Caring Homes are overwhelmed by all the wonderful gifts and offers of support from family members, community bodies and groups.
We would like to reassure our residents, family members and our many community friends and partners that we are proactively managing all the essential needs of our residents through our supply chains be that LA’s for PPE or our Clinical, Food and Beverage Suppliers and Pharmacies.
Whilst we are hugely grateful for all the generosity and kindness being shown we also feel the need to support the National Campaign to ‘Stay at Home, Protect the NHS and Save Lives’ and stress the importance of doing this each and every day.
We wholeheartedly appreciate everyone wanting to show their appreciation of our courageous colleagues and of the vital role they perform in caring for and protecting many of our nation’s most vulnerable members.
We would welcome and encourage you to stay in touch with our Homes and Residents through all our available communication channels, offering your support in this virtual world and continue to clap for the many Key workers across the Nation every Thursday.
When this Pandemic passes and we feel the time is right to relax our strict visitor policies we look forward to joining with you all in recognising the challenges we have all faced and reflecting on the humbling, inspiring courage our colleagues have shown in protecting and caring for our nations loved ones, your loved ones, our residents.”
