Summer Break Offer 2022

1. If eligible, you are entitled to the following Summer Break Offer:
Stay 3 weeks for price of 2 or 4 weeks for the price 3 when you stay at one of our participating care homes.

2. Period of offer

The Summer Break Offer will run during the period noted below:

1st June 2022 to 31st August 2022

3. Participating care home

This offer is applicable at Brook House, Riverside Place, Southlands Place, Homefield Grange, Cotman House, Sanford House, Dormy House, Ferfoot, Magna, Mount Pleasant, Abbeycrest, Firtree House, Walstead Place, Tall Trees, Coppice Lea, Garth House, Parris Lawn, Rectory House, Deer Park View, East Hill House, Knowle Park, Latham Lodge, Cranmer Court and The Manor.

We reserve the right to add or withdraw this offer without notice.

4. Validity of offer

The Summer Break Offer is not available to an existing Caring Homes customer or a customer registering for permanent residency.

This offer is only available to be used once and for your third week’s stay.

5. Other offers or discounts

You may not use this offer in conjunction with any other offers or discounts provided by our care homes.

6. Eligibility of offer

You are eligible to receive this offer if:

  • length of stay is for a minimum of 21 days (3 weeks) at the care home during the offer period.
  • you meet the minimum age requirement of the participating care home. This is typically 65 years and over.
  • we can meet your care needs and you have care needs which will benefit from our services. Our care home representative will discuss the support that you require. If suitable, a full personalised assessment of care needs will be carried out.

7. Planning your Summer Break

Your Summer Break Offer:

  • is subject to the availability of a room at the care home at the time you wish to take up this offer. To avoid disappointment we recommend that you book as early as possible within the offer period.
  • must be taken in a single stay. If you do not take up your full planned stay at the care home and your actual stay is less than 21 days, the discount will not apply, and you will incur the full charge for your stay.
  • can commence any day of the week during the offer period subject to availability.

If you wish to extend your stay with us after the completion of the 21st day of your Spring Break Offer, then additional nights can be booked subject to availability at the care home. All such bookings would be subject to a further charge and will not include a discount. If you would like to book additional nights, please discuss directly with the care home.

Methods of payment should be discussed directly with the care home.

9. Services available to you as part of your Summer Break Offer

You will be provided the same high quality service that is received by our permanent care home customers. Services include a 24 hour plan designed to meet your care needs, all meals and snacks prepared by our on-site chef and access to all activities. Typical activities would include musical therapy, arts and crafts, events, coffee mornings, entertainment and individual time spent engaging with a member of our team such as reading and games. Please note that activity classes run at different times throughout a week or month therefore not all will be available at the time of your visit.

10. Additional services which will have a charge

There are additional services available which would incur a charge. These may include i.e. occupational therapy/chiropody/physiotherapy (subject to being on site during your stay), manicures and pedicures, hairdresser (cuts and blow dries, colouring, perming), international telephone calls, etc. For full details of additional charges, please discuss directly with the care home.

11. Transport Service

Transport to and from the care home is subject to the services and facilities provided by the care home. If you would like further information discuss this with the care home directly.

Inflation Buster Offer – New Permanent Residents - save over £5,200

Locking the weekly fee for a period of two years from the point of a resident moving into an applicable Caring Homes home.

Saving is based on the resident’s weekly care fee and annual inflationary increase. The example saving shown is based on a typical weekly care fee of £1,250 plus 8% inflationary increase over 12 months.

The Inflation Buster Offer will run during the period noted below:

21st July 2022 to 30th September 2022

3. Participating care home

This offer is applicable at Belmont House, Claydon House, Cotman House, Cranmer Court, Deer Park View, East Hill House, Ivy Court, Knowle Park, Rendlesham, Sanford House, The Orchard and The Manor.

You may not use this offer in conjunction with any other offers or discounts provided by our care homes.

6. Eligibility of offer

You are eligible to receive this offer if:

  • The weekly fee referred to in the Particulars will apply for two years from the start of the Permanent Contract and Clause 5.8.1 shall not apply for that two year period. If the Resident leaves the Home during that two-year period (for whatever reason save for a period of temporary treatment in hospital from which they then return whilst the standard weekly fee continues to be paid), but then returns at a later date, then the offer will no longer be applicable. There will be no pro-rata apportionment.
  • If the Resident requires additional care then the provisions of Clause 2.4 of the Permanent Contract shall continue to apply during the two year period. At the end of the two year period the weekly fee will then be subject to the uplift provisions of Clause 5.8.1 of the Permanent Contract.
