Well Deserved Caring Stars Winner
East Hill House Care Home in Liss take part in the Caring Stars scheme that is run where the team nominate each other every month giving a reason for why the team member deserves recognition, the winner is then picked by the residents who all enjoy reading the lovely comments the staff have said about each other.
The winner picked in November by the residents was Sue Heath, who has a wealth of knowledge within the care sector and has worked at East hill House for 3 years. Her roles in the home have and do vary from activity support, to carer to mini bus driver, plus many more.
Sue has been picked for Caring Stars this month due to her happy and positive attitude, brightening resident’s days filling it with laughter and meaningful activity as well as always being a huge support in every department. Also in the month she helped at our other home Blenheim Court to ensure they also offered a great service within the home.
Once again putting her hand to what is needed she was handed her recognition letter and award whilst busy painting!

East Hill House provides residential and dementia care for up to 32 elderly people and were awarded ‘Best Dementia Care Home of the Year’ at the prestigious National Dementia Care Awards in 2017.
