Walks with Hawks return to Whittington House

Whittington House Nursing Home in Cheltenham recently welcomed back the popular Walks with Hawks for their fifth visit of the year.

Our residents gathered in the lounge eagerly awaiting these beautiful birds of prey.

As always, it was a magnificent experience getting the opportunity to get up-close and personal with a kestrel, barn owl and the star of the show ‘The Mighty Thor’, the Burrowing Owl.

They finished off with their usual room to room visits so that our less mobile residents also get to experience these amazing birds.

We’re sure they will be back soon by popular demand and we’re already looking forward to their next visit.
