The Orchard Memory Walk 2022
Team members at The Orchard Care Home have taken part in their own Memory Walk to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Our five staff members walked eight miles to Hatfield and back to show their support to those families and people living with dementia and in the process raised over £100 for the charity. Thank you to everyone that supported and donated to a charity that is close to our hearts.
Throughout the autumn there are a series of Memory Walks happening across the UK and people are encouraged to join in or hold their own. They are all to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society which is such a worthwhile cause and every walk gives people the chance to show their support to anyone living with dementia or in memory of someone special.
