Caring Homes is delighted to announce the acquisition this month of The Manor Care Home, a purpose-built care home, located in Edinburgh with breathtaking panoramic views.
The Manor specialises in residential, nursing and dementia care, offering first class facilities and accommodation, which allows residents to feel welcome, relaxed and secure whilst also enjoying an active and independent lifestyle.
Paul Jeffery, CEO, Caring Homes, said: “I am delighted that The Manor is joining our family of high-quality care homes across the UK. We are very much looking forward to enhancing the support this home delivers to all their residents and hope that they will be impressed with our approach to, and focus on, person centred care, clinical excellence and family values.
“At Caring Homes we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care as well as recruiting and retaining the most talented staff.”
Like all our care homes, The Manor provides the latest in luxurious facilities, but it’s the highly skilled and dedicated teams of care workers, nurses, support staff, specialists and managers who make the difference. They consistently go above and beyond to deliver superb care to residents – a fact that is recognised in our resident and family testimonials.
At The Manor, on Meggetgate, Edinburgh, there are 74 ensuite bedrooms with varying styles, sizes and aspects. Each bedroom is elegantly decorated and furnished whilst incorporating leading safety features.
We have a team of talented Health and Wellbeing Coordinators who will support you to be as active or sociable as you wish, meaning that there’s plenty to do if you’re keen to get involved. Taking guidance from you, they will plan varied and fulfilling activities to suit you personally. Even simple daily tasks that may be important to you like tending to garden pots or serving tea, we recognise that everyone is unique and so are the daily activities that people choose to do at The Manor.
Caring Homes was established by Registered Nurse Helena Jeffery and her son, Paul, with one care home in 1994. Since then, we have grown to become one of the most highly respected independent care and support providers in the United Kingdom with 70 homes, including seven other homes in Scotland, and to this day we remain family run.
