Parris Lawn takes part in Treasured Memories

Friday was the burial day of our Caring Homes Parris Lawn Time Capsule. To be dug up and opened in 2050 and with the aim of releasing memories from years gone by into our local community, today was a very special day indeed.

Standing proudly side by side with our Home Manager Jackie, we would like to extend a genuine thank you to Maria Caulfield MP for Lewes as she joined us and played her part in our moment to remember.

Filled with handwritten memory cards from our residents, letters from the local school, football club and cricket club along with memories written by members of the local Ringmer and Lewes communities.. We have nicely finished our piece off with photos of our team and residents enjoying their time together at Parris Lawn and we really hope we have left something for the ages.

A massive thank from the team here at Parris Lawn to those who took part and we shall see you all in 27 years or so!
