Parris Lawn enjoyed a Bop
The residents and care team at Parris Lawn Care Home in Lewes this week enjoyed a Rock 'n' Roll themed day packed full of music and dancing.
The staff dressed up in 50's rock 'n' roll outfits ready for the party in one of our lounges.
Residents gathered together to celebrate with music from rock 'n' roll greats such as Elvis, The Beatles and The Beach Boys. We also listened to some of their favourites from the 60's.
Everyone had a blast, singing and dancing. Those that were able danced around the living room with the care team whilst others tapped their hands and feet to the music whilst singing along. We worked up a real appetite so enjoyed a feast of sausage rolls, pies and cheese and biscuits, all washed down with sherry and wine.
