Olive celebrates a Century at Brooklyn House

It was a very special day at Brooklyn House in Attleborough last week as resident Olive reached her 100th birthday and celebrated in style.Surrounded by her family and balloons, she enjoyed a day of relaxing and opening cards and presents in the morning and afternoon tea with her birthday cake and a very special delivery of her telegram and birthday wishes from the Queen.“Oh, my goodness, it’s from Lizzie,” exclaimed an overwhelmed Olive.Olive a Norfolk lady, started work at 14 in service.
